First Kitten Show...

... started with a lot of laughter and thrills. I met the cutest models in the world, Oana and Roxi, as we played make-up studio. The room we used for getting the show ready was rather small but filled with beauty, don't you think?
Andreea and Denisa showed me how friends are truly close when one is in need, giving me their time, taking photos, laughing and feeling with me.


Andreea from DaDaModa showed up wearing her unique kitten tee and...

... the show began and everyone smiled: they must have been enjoying it as everything was meant to be relaxed, playful and free. I promise to get back to you with photos of the complete collection within the next few days... so please be patient (I know I'm not) !



Adina Necula was live-blogging the whole event as you can see and read here. She was there for me too and she handled things like a pro!


In the end... I learned once too many times that life is not a fairytale: if you really wish for something and put your mind and soul to it your wish comes true. So... life is real.

Dance tonight...

... as a reward for the (may I say hard?) work these past days. I've been creating some fresh designs which you'll be able to see at the Girls Night Out party and soon revealed through lovely photos. The t-shirts will be available right away: we can't miss out on summer.

After travelling to Europe, KITTEN went tropical as Ileana brought her butterflies t-shirt on her trip to Bali. I've got to admit that I've lost words when looking at all her photos and I immediately began dreaming and thoughts of adventure came into my mind.

But hey, you know what? We have all the time in the world...

Of dinosaurs and men.

Improvisneyland...

... are real actors who make real theatre, only their plays are not directed. No scripts, just imagination and intuition. No constraints, only relaxed spontaneous humour. You can meet them HERE and sense their art live on Wednesday at Bubbles.

I've came up with a logo for Improvisneyland: it expresses our basic emotions as theatre loses masks and becomes real.

I've also created their 'stage costumes' and hope to show you the guys actually wearing the t-shirts soon.

We don't mind the rain.

Simona just sent me this sweet gift as she and her brother took their tees out for a parade. Giraffe looks a bit spaced out but kitten girl is always happy to see everyone!

I've been thinking...

... a lot about keeping KITTEN blog in Romanian or in English and I've come to a decision: it's going to be English as many of the readers are from US, UK, Germany, Colombia, Japan, Turkey or even Kazakhstan. People in the UK, Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Sweden and Greece are already wearing KITTEN t-shirts.
And... I get a lot of requests to translate by e-mail.
I'm sure most of Romanians understand English so it shouldn't be a problem. If you find any reason not to agree with my decision please share as I want to listen.

Not a fairy...

... but a real girl with real likes and dislikes, with real thoughts and plans. Not a fairytale, but real life with real ups and downs, with real struggle and achievement.

So I say life should not have a scenario as there are no acts to follow. It's not a recipe nor a story, it happens here and now. Maybe change begins with erasing 'must be' or 'must do'.

I'm here...

... working and playing. Kittens and I have a lot of work these days but we naturally have fun and relax. We're also busy meeting beautiful friends, making plans or chatting with them if they're far away. So until new kittens in the city, here are some of our favourite and most popular works.

If we were kids...

... I would show you how to paint with our fingers and build cute things and then you would take me out in the rain and we would jump and run and clean off.
You would be my apricot soda and I would be your toffee.

If we could hear...

... the moment, how would this moment be? Could we think it? Could we verbalise it? Or is the hearing just how we would feel?

I think words can hold emotions, but emotions are far from words.
